Working with children and young people to support positive mental health and wellbeing

This workshop aims to help those working with children and young people in developing the skills required to identify mental health needs and provide support through direct work. Early recognition and support can prevent mental health difficulties escalating and can improve children’s outcomes. The workshop will also explore strategies for making ‘every contact count’ for mental wellbeing.

Aimed at: Social workers, family support workers and team managers in direct practice with children, young people and families.
