Learning Event : Webinar
12:00 to 13:00 Tuesday, 12 December 2017

The deprivation of liberty for children in need or looked after children is a complex and sensitive area of practice with an evolving legal framework. In this webinar we will explore the legal basis and the implications of case law for local authorities' decision-making and issues of consent. The webinar will review the steps needed to ensure that effective pathways are developed so that a deprivation of liberty is recognised and lawfully authorised.
