This workshop will support practitioners to develop a child-centred perspective on understanding, assessing and working with online risks such as sexting; online grooming; inappropriate or excessive use of digital media; digital harm and online radicalisation.
Digital and social media technologies play an integral part in children and young people’s lives and identities. This session builds knowledge, skills and capabilities to support direct practice in a digital world. The day will also explore how you can effectively manage your professional presence online.
Aimed at: Social workers, team managers, safeguarding practitioners, frontline practitioners working with children and families, family support workers and youth workers.
