Who we work with
Research in Practice supports the children’s sector to build capacity for evidence-informed practice.
Our work is informed by our Partnership network, and the organisation is steered by a Partnership Board.
We collaborate with other organisations in the UK and internationally, bringing evidence-informed practice to the heart of government consultations, policy initiatives and academic research. We work in collaboration with our Partner network to maximise the utilisation of evidence through the co-production of resources, tools and training.
The Research in Practice network is made up of over 100 Partners from local authorities and voluntary sector organisations. We support Partners to work together to share learning - sustaining innovation and creativity across the sector and enabling colleagues to share learning beyond authority, geographical or service boundaries.
Research in Practice has a long history of collaborative partnerships – working with other leading organisations to strive for improved outcomes for children.
