The Wales College 2007-2010

The Wales College contract with research in practice was renewed on 2nd March 2007. The new contract covers the period from 1 September 2007 to 31 August 2010. research in practice is working closely with the Wales Social Services Improvement Agency in meeting the services identified in the contract. There are four distinct and related strands to the services that are to be offered to the 22 local authorities as part of this contract. These are:

  • Investment in Link Officers
  • Engaging front line teams
  • Winning senior level support
  • Dissemination of accessible research

If you browse the left hand menu you will find film, elearning, and a range of materials and resources drawn from the Development Groups that have been offered in Wales since 2004. This includes material related to supporting evidence-informed practice, the reunification of looked-after children with their families, family support, championing evidence-informed practice and important information for Link Officers.
