Is there any information on organisational websites?
Charity organisations are very useful, and often publish material themselves:
Family Rights Group: this organisation has published a number of resources in this area, including a report by Mike Doolan, Paul Nixon and Patrice Lawrence, Growing Up in the Care of Relatives and Friends (2004), two policy papers on the topic of kinship care and advice sheets such as Family and Friends Care: Becoming a Foster Carer
BAAF: as part of their publications section, there is helpful book by B. Broad, and A. Skinner, entitled Relative Benefits: Placing Children in Kinship Care
SCIE: provides links to other electronic sites, particularly the comprehensive database of resources on the topic of kinship care within Social Care Online
