How do you obtain the full text of a research review?

  • Where the full text of a research review is available (at no cost) on the Internet we include a link
  • Your organisation may subscribe to some journals in which research reviews are published. To find out what journal  resources are available to you, contact your research team, library service or your Link Officer
  • Social work students on placement and some practitioners doing PQ may have access to university library resources
  • Individual journal titles can be accessed through their publisher’s home pages on the internet by ‘googling’ the title of the journal. You can purchase immediate electronic access to an article through these sites for around £10 per article. Most journals provide one or more issues of each journal as a ‘free sample issue’ The British Library Document Supply Service provides access to copies of any published article. This will cost between £8-10 per article depending on the method of delivery.
