This research review identifies risk and protective factors associated with youth crime as well as effective interventions to prevent it. Its main focus is on reducing criminality and isolating factors in children and young people’s lives that can, to some extent, be modified by practical, community-based prevention programmes. The research was undertaken by Communities that Care on behalf of the Youth Justice Board.
