This Change Project aims to increase housing professionals’ awareness of key issues for children and young people – with a focus on outdoor play space. It aims to encourage better inter-agency working between housing professionals and those working with children and families. It will also promote evidence-informed approaches to the development and management of outdoor play space for children and young people.
The pilot materials consist of four resources that can be downloaded below:
1. The pilot Handbook is designed to help social housing professionals assess and develop current practice. Key research and practice messages around the provision and management of outdoor play spaces for children and young people.

Housing professionals have a key role to play in children and young people's lives and this project will inspire and distil an unfamiliar knowledge base in an accessible way - it would be a great way to start building good professional working relationships with housing and bring children and young people's agendas to the fore.
