about the audio series close window
This research-based audio series benefits from the expertise of researchers, practitioners and service users. Ideal for use in professional training and development discussion groups, it also offers individual social workers, who may spend up to 40% of their time on the road, a more convenient way to access research information to inform their practice.
The first six in the series, generously sponsored by the Nuffield Foundation, were well-received. An independent evaluation of this tape series was published in Child and Family Social Work 9 (2), May 2004, pp187-196. Since then, the series has continued in a CD format allowing for easy navigation between tracks, with contributions delivered in shorter interviewed, rather than scripted, sections.
