details: Informed by the latest research, and focusing on the needs of the child, this practical workshop is aimed at social workers, social work assistants and all social care staff with a remit for managing and monitoring supervised or unsupervised contact. It looks at the different approaches required to manage supervised and unsupervised contact and how foster carers and contact centre staff can be supported to supervise and record contact accurately, to ensure that the impacts and benefits to the child can be monitored over the short, medium and long-term.
