Our webinars programme is well under way, and the first two have been very well received. You can read more about them below.
Neglect: Recognition and Response Webinar
Presented by Kate Mulley from Action for Children, this webinar presented the findings from their recent report (available here). We were delighted to receive encouraging positive feedback for this webinar:
- ‘Good to use new style of learning’
- ‘Really enjoyed. Concise and thought provoking.’
- ‘Good source of information and the ability to ask questions directly.’
We were delighted that attendees commented on the opportunity they were given to ask questions. We work hard to achieve a high level of interaction with our webinars and look forward to exploring more ways to encourage this in the future.
For those who missed it, a recording of this webinar and a supporting presentation can be found here.
Moving From a Compliance to a Learning Culture in Child Protection Webinar
This webinar was hosted by our colleagues in Canada, with guest speakers Professor Eileen Munro, and Jacky Tiotto from Ofsted. It posed a few technological challenges as it was delivered through a different system to the one that we usually use, but participants were very positive indeed. Many of our partner agencies used the webinar as an opportunity for group learning – getting groups together in one room to listen to the webinar, ask questions of Eileen and Jacky and have a discussion around the key learning points from the webinar after it had taken place. Again, we received positive feedback from the event:
- ‘All of the participants in my agency found the webinar to be a great learning tool.’
