We are excited to announce the launch of the new research, evaluation and analysis support network co-led by research in practice, research in practice for adults and the National Foundation for Educational Research.
This has been set up at our Partners’ request to provide support for the sector to demonstrate the worth and the impact of the work done by children’s and adult services.
Our aims are to:
- Build capacity for individuals and organisations to evaluate what they do
- Share knowledge across the sector in order to demonstrate value and to learn from what works well

- Develop skills and knowledge in evaluation and analysis
- Understand how evaluations work
reason provides peer support and opportunities to share learning, tools and resources to understand and carry out evaluations, access to a wide range of learning opportunities, and bespoke support from experts for your evaluation.
We have arranged for all research in practice partners to have access to the website www.reason-network.org.uk where you can:
- Discuss, reflect and question using the online member discussion forum
- Access, use and share your views on a range of resources that build skills and knowledge around evaluation and analysis
- Look at examples of evaluations that have been conducted in the sector including reason examples
