The Adolescent and Children’s Trust (TACT) named as Sunday Times 100 Best Company for a second year in a row

The Adolescent and Children’s Trust (TACT) has been named as one of ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Places to Work in the Public and Charity Sectors list 2011.’ TACT was ranked 31st place overall and was ranked 7th for having managers who are excellent role models.

The award assesses employees’ views of their workplace. Staff award scores for their employer in areas such as leadership, personal growth and wellbeing.

Upon receiving the award TACT Chief Executive Kevin Williams, said:

'I am really proud that TACT has for the second year running been named one of the Sunday Times Top 100 companies. Over 73 percent of our staff felt that their managers were excellent role models. In difficult economic times having a fulfilled and motivated staff is vital to ensure the best support for our carers and adoptive families and the best outcomes for the young people placed in our care.'

 Kevin Williams and TACT representatives received the award at a celebration event on Wednesday 23 February 2011.
