Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and the education of children in the Care system

The Adolescent & Children’s Trust (TACT), a long-standing member of the research in practice network, recently made a submission to the Education Committee regarding Behaviour in Schools. Within this submission TACT highlighted the issue of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and the importance of this topic in relation to the education of children in the Care system. FASD is an important subject that will be of interest to everyone connected with the care of Looked After Children, as well as in Child Protection, Education and Family Support.
