Withdrawal of government funding to CWDC

At research in practice, we received news of the withdrawal of government funding to CWDC with regret. The work of CWDC in raising the profile of workforce development is to be commended, and it is important that their achievements to date are built upon in the future. Whilst government driven initiatives disappear and local areas face drastically reduced resources, the need for a highly-skilled workforce across the children’s sector remains clear.  research in practice – funded by the subscriptions of our network of Partners – is committed to continuing the support we have provided to children’s services for the past 13 years. Our wide range of tailor-made resources are designed to enable and embed evidence-informed practice at every level, supporting the professional development of you and your colleagues.

Please contact your Link Officer or Regional Lead to discuss how to make best use of our resources for NQSWs, experienced practitioners, strategic managers and Directors.
