The Adolescent and Children’s Trust (TACT) and University of East Anglia: Research Launched

Yesterday, TACT and the Centre for Research on the Child and Family at the University of East Anglia launched the findings of a two year research project. The report, ‘Looked after Children and Offending: Reducing Risk and Promoting Resilience’ is designed to improve the life chances of children in care at risk of offending and criminalisation. Domestic Violence Consultation

At the close of the year, the Government announced a consultation on plans to widen the scope of definitions of domestic violence to include victims aged under 18 (and those experiencing ongoing controlling behaviour from partners).

Doncaster: Engagement Success

A significant portion of our offering can be found online, and so encouraging people to sign up for web accounts is a key step towards getting the most from our service. Doncaster colleagues now hold 314 web accounts which is a fantastic achievement.

National Foundation for Educational Research: Safeguarding report

There is a strong tradition of collaboration between NFER and research in practice. As such, we are pleased to share with you a report Safeguarding: Council Developments released by NFER and the Local Government Group which addresses local authority developments around the issue of safeguarding. Five local authorities participated in the study for this report.
