The research in practice network is now made up of over 100 participating agencies consisting of local authorities, statutory and childcare organisations and national agencies and a partnership with the 22 authorities in Wales known as the Wales College. research in practice promotes the development of evidence-informed practice and policy in child welfare by offering a distinctive set of services to Partner agencies. Every agency in the network has three key contacts:
Link Officers are operational team members who promote and support the use of evidence in service delivery.
2nd Tier Champions are senior managers who are committed to driving up the use of robust research evidence in planning across the whole of children’s services.
Regional Leads are research in practice policy officers who are on hand as the first point of call for any queries.
