Here you will find everything you want to know about being a Link Officer
Our aim in this special section of the website is to help you undertake your role as Link Officer for research in practice as effectively as possible. As Link Officer you have the crucial co-ordinating role between your organisation and research in practice.
Throughout the course of this ‘mini website’ for Link Officers you will be directed into our website where most of our useful information lies. The website underpins and links all our work. By making this information web-based we can ensure that it is up to date and accurate. Please explore the links on both sides of this page and the yellow tabs along the top.
What this means for you
We try to show you what the role means for you, your work, your time, your commitment and hopefully your enjoyment.
How we can help

These 50 questions give you a simple health-check on whether your agency is getting the full benefits that partnership with research in practice brings.
It supports the audit on where your agency stands currently in developing Evidence-Informed Practice - using the Organisational Support Audit in Firm Foundations handbook - and it is a good basis for an annual check on progress. These 50 questions are best completed by:
- a combination of at least two people
