Change Projects which have now been completed

Change Projects are one of a range of methods used by research in practice to help our Partner agencies working with children and families to become more evidence-informed. A small group of people from research in practice Partner agencies join forces over a period of several months to investigate together new ways of working. During this collaborative enquiry participants test and record their learning so that others may benefit from their successes – and mishaps. The product is a handbook of practical guidance, exercises and ideas accompanied by audio-visual materials (one or more films or an audio CD) or interactive learning tools.

Click here for more information about the Change Project process.

We have completed seven Change Projects so far:

Integrated practice on the front line (2009)

Under the Influence? Working with young people who misuse alcohol and offend (2009)

Evidence Matters - Social work expertise in the family court (2008)

Leading Evidence-Informed Practice (2007)

Firm Foundations: A practical guide to organisational support for the use of research evidence (2006)

Teamwise - using research evidence: A practical guide for teams (2005)

NIFTY evaluation: Small-scale evaluation for single services, for non researchers (2005)
