This forum examines strategic methods of looking at integrating evidence-informed practice within Partner agencies. It is open to Directors of Children's Services. The forum is held over 24 hours. Lunch, evening meal, overnight accommodation, breakfast, and lunch again on the following day, are provided. Participation is by invitation. Invitations will be sent to Directors of Children's Services at the end of February with an invitation to second tier staff to take up the invitation if the DCS cannot attend.

This is a unique and important event – an opportunity for councillors and trustees to reflect upon their vital role in supporting vulnerable families and children.This annual Councillors’ and Trustees’ Seminar is a 24-hour event, supporting those with overall governance responsibility to know and use the most up-to-date information on research and effective practice on a topic of key importance. This annual seminar focuses on research and innovative practice, designed to support councillors and trustees in their work. Councillors and Trustees can come to this event accompanied by a senior officer from their agency. The event is held over 24 hours. Lunch, evening meal, overnight accommodation, breakfast and lunch again on the following day, are provided. We alternate the venue annually between the North and South.

This is the most important event for Link Officers in our year. It is the key opportunity to catch up on recent research developments, research in practice developments and developments in other Partner agencies. It includes information about new research and offers significant networking opportunities with other Link Officers as well as with research in practice staff. There is also time for feedback to and from research in practice, helping us to develop plans for the coming years. The event is held over 24 hours. Lunch, evening meal, overnight accommodation, breakfast and lunch again on the following day, are provided. We alternate the venue annually between the North and South. Link Officers will be sent an invitation and booking form prior to the event.
